A contractor had laid concrete cinder block incorrectly. These cinder block were 4" off of base. What good is a foundation base if it isn't actually used to build the cinder block retaining wall on? This cost the homeowner over $12,000 to correct and could have cost the homeowner their home! This is why it is important to have a licensed contractor with good references AND insurance.
